Silkscreen Print on Wood

This piece was originally made on a surf trip to Baja Mexico. With limited resources Welzie managed to get the hood of an old 1995 Ford Ranger and some some paints. After a couple days on the cliffs painting and long boarding perfect waves the original piece was created. A Local ex-pat purchased Welzie;s piece and the money was used to buy paint for a couple murals around the local town and art supplies for the kids at the school.    Welzie's annual trips to Mexico has been a huge influence on his large scale mural work and Mexican folk art style.

Hand Made In Hawaii

We create each silkscreen wooden print with the highest quality acrylic paint allowing us to achieve the brightest colors created and mixed by Welzie himself. These wooden gems are Hand silkscreened in our Two Crows Hawaii Workshop using traditional silkscreen techniques. No two pieces are a like making them truly unique. We do small runs of each design and generally have a blue, pink or purple background.
